Located at the top end of Spring Street in Melbourne, lies the European mirage. The classically-styled European diner showcases classic beef dishes through the decades, decorated with vintage posters and all. The European is great for pre or post theatre goers, after work dinners, and also a great date restaurant. The Story The European takes its customers back in time into old world Europe, with a hybrid of rural French, Italian and Spanish traditions. Curly explains that "your customers are key influencers. You need to be out there and listening to what they want,” a key reason why this steak restaurant thrives. The Best Seller “The European Pepper steak (flat iron) cut from the oyster blade. It’s served with a bone marrow butter, secret pepper sauce, celeriac remoulade, and crispy crumbs for texture and freshness of horseradish vinaigrette dressed leaves to cut through the richness of the marrow butter.” The Difference “We pay great attention to where our meat is sourced from and how it has been treated. We also have our own in house butcher and endeavour to use the whole beast,” Curly explains. In Three Words “Classic. Busy. Brasserie.” The European is located on Spring Street, Melbourne.
